Sickening the constant need to be perfect!

I saw this disturbing photo and it really brought it to my attention how much being skinny or being fat is the main topic of most discussions nowadays.

Nobody seems to be happy with what they look like anymore and many people have been diagnosed with a disease called Body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) (previously known as dysmorphophobia^[1] is sometimes referred to as body dysmorphia or dysmorphic syndrome^[2]) is a (psychological) somatoform disorder in which the affected person is excessively concerned about and preoccupied by a perceived defect in his or her physical features (body image).

People are starving themselves to have this perfect image of what we see in magazines and on movies. Severe eating disorders like Bulimia nervosa is an eating disorder characterized by restraining of food intake for a period of time followed by an over intake or binging period that results in feelings of guilt and low self-esteem. The median age of onset is 18. Sufferers attempt to overcome these feelings in a number of ways.^[1] The most common form is defensive vomiting, sometimes called purging; fasting, the use of laxatives, enemas, diuretics, and over exercising are also common.^[2] Bulimia nervosa is nine times more likely to occur in women than men (Barker 2003). Antidepressants, especially SSRIs are widely used in the treatment of bulimia nervosa. (Newell and Gournay 2000).

But Anorexia and Bulimia are not the only types of severe eating disorders, People are also over eating and it is causing many adults and children in our society to be Obesity is a medical condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to the extent that it may have an adverse effect on health, leading to reduced life expectancy and/or increased health problems.^[1][2] Body mass index (BMI), a measurement which compares weight and height, defines people as overweight (pre-obese) if their BMI is between 25 kg/m² and 30 kg/m², and obese when it is greater than 30 kg/m².^[3]

Many people are more likely to have surgeries and different types of operations to get rid of the fat. Even in people as young as 15 years of age.

I AM SO SICK AND TIRED OF PEOPLE TRYING TO BE WHAT THEY ARE NOT. JUST BE YOURSELVES, WHO CARES WHAT OTHERS THINK! THE CONSTANT NEED TO BE PERFECT IS SICK. PEOPLE BRAGGING ON THEMSELVES THAT THEY ARE SO GOOD LOOKING AND SO SKINNY OR SO FAT JUST NEEDS TO STOP. IF YOU WANNA GAIN WEIGHT BECAUSE YOU FEEL YOUR TOO SKINNY THEN GREAT BUT DONT GO OVERBOARD WITH THE DONUTS, IF YOU WANNA GET IN SHAPE BECAUSE YOU FEEL YOU HAVE GAINED A LITTLE THEN GREAT JUST DON'T GO TO EXTREMES!!

THE PERFECT WEDDING IN MY EYES!!

I have a couple of different idea's when it comes to planning my perfect ideal wedding!

First off I want my perfect wedding dress to be a ball gown design, I want the neckline to be heartshaped and the color to be white!

I want my hair to be a half up, half down look. I want many curles added to it and a long vail!

I love this look very much too!!

Instead of a traditional cake for a wedding I want a huge tower of assorted cupcakes!! I really Love chocolate!

This look yummy and its pretty as well!!

Lights at a reception are always a good thing! A back drop lighting will look pretty and not cheap or to bright!

Lighting at the tables look good too!

Last but not least at the reception you have to have flowers! I love flowers and I thing a middle table piece with flowers is nice!
